Yes, I know this is becoming a bad habit, but I replaced today's Yoga X with my first night of Kick boxing. I also did an hour and a half of BJJ today.
I don't plan on making this a regular substitution and by no means do I value Yoga X less important than the other routines, but that 90 minute window of calm/quiet for Yoga is damned hard to come by with the kids off from school...sounds like I'm making excuses. I need to not rationalize this.
My right leg got hammered during a checked kick tonight in kickboxing, so it's going to be interesting to see how that affects my already sore right knee/leg during the rest of the week.
My New Year's resolution is not to substitute the sessions any further. I think that instead of a rest day this week (and instead of stretch) I'll do the Yoga X.
As much as I love having my kids around on holiday, I can't wait until the go back to school so I can get back on my regular schedule! ;)
