OK, so I banged up my leg in kickboxing the other night when my buddy Ed checked me. I don't know what/where/how I hit at such a strange angle, but I've damaged something, somewhere...I just can't isolate it. At any rate, certain moves are really difficult, so I'm adapting around them until I heal.
I also seem to have fudged my left shoulder (which is a stage 2 AC separation already)in BJJ and it's sore and clicking more than usual, so I'm taking it easy with that, too.
Damn, getting old.
Tonight was Kenpo X and I made up a missed Ab Ripper X from earlier this week, also.
Due to lower intensity (see above) here are the stats:
495 calories burned, 23% from fat. Zone 1: 22:00, Zone 2: 26:53 and Zone 3: 00:29. Avg HR 121 bpm/Max HR 149. As you can tell, the average and max HR's are well below my normal, as is the caloric burn, but I'm glad I worked out anyway.
Tomorrow is the rest day before Week 8 (which is the "rest" week) so I'm taking this break with relish. ;)

P.S. My hat's off to the women (and men, I guess) of the world who shave their legs regularly...the fuzz on my chest/abs made it really difficult to see where the hell I was lacking definition, so I took a dare and buzzed it all of...the wrestlers/grapplers/MMA guys do it all the time for lots of reasons, so I at least I didn't feel TOO much like Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie ;)
Besides looking like a chihuahua, it's itchy as all hell now! I don't see how people do this, unless they shave every day. However, I can sure as hell tell where I'm cutting up and where I still need to work.
